Where it all began...
In August 2001, I spent three days in the rainforest on Bainbridge Island learning
the basics of glassblowing from Kuy Hepburn. I learned at the end of those three days that his brother
and sister both worked with different types of glass and that his Aunt Kate starred in many movies!
Working at Santa Barbara Art Glass
In 2006, my future best friend - Saul Alcaraz - opened up his glass studio and started giving lessons.
I became his first student and have been working and learning from Saul and Gina Alcaraz for over a decade.
